Roads and parking
- To handle the number of daily visitors anticipated during the Games, it is essential that roads, traffic and parking in Cheshunt and Waltham Cross and the surrounding areas are properly managed. So, road and parking restrictions will be introduced when events are taking place.
- The Olympic and Paralympic Route Network will be in operation on roads towards the Lee Valley White Water Centre before and during the Games, so there will be changes to the way these roads operate. These changes will include no parking or stopping on the A121 from the M25 to the venue. Find out more information on these traffic management measures.
- Local access and parking measures will be in place around Games venues. - Accessible shuttle buses will run from Cheshunt station to the venue, and park-and-ride buses will run to the venue from Hertfordshire and Essex, which will increase traffic around the venue before, and after, events.
